Our Little Peanut!
So last Thursday Steve and I got to go to the doctor to have our first ultrasound. We were so excited. The doctor's office had a big screen tv across the room so we could see everything as clearly as possible (for it being a little peanut). The doctor took some pics and showed us everything. Then he held the "wand" really still and we actually got to see the little peanut move. It was amazing!! It really helped make it real for us. When you only feel sick and nothing else, it's sometimes hard to believe that you are pregnant, but seeing that little moving being was awesome! His/her heartrate was a little high (179), but considering my heart rate was up too, that's to be expected. When I went to Walmart that night I had to buy little socks to put on my little moving peanut someday. Here are two of the photos he took. The line is across our little one. Well so far I think he/she looks like Steve :) So very cool that you got to see the little one on ultrasound so early. The only one that I had at 20 weeks I had to pay completely for. Funny that I even work for the dang hospital. Oh well. I look very forward to the upadates to come! I'll call you sometime soon and see if I can't help set you up with some of the fun backgrounds and other things to add okay? XOXO
I will look forward to hearing updates on your little one through this site. Cherish every moment because it will go much faster than you could ever imagine! I hope this will also be an encouragement to you to know that you will not be sick for long and the sickness is SO worth it!
