Our Little Peanut!

So last Thursday Steve and I got to go to the doctor to have our first ultrasound. We were so excited. The doctor's office had a big screen tv across the room so we could see everything as clearly as possible (for it being a little peanut). The doctor took some pics and showed us everything. Then he held the "wand" really still and we actually got to see the little peanut move. It was amazing!! It really helped make it real for us. When you only feel sick and nothing else, it's sometimes hard to believe that you are pregnant, but seeing that little moving being was awesome! His/her heartrate was a little high (179), but considering my heart rate was up too, that's to be expected. When I went to Walmart that night I had to buy little socks to put on my little moving peanut someday. Here are two of the photos he took. The line is across our little one. Enjoy and thanks for keeping up with us.

See the little line? That's our peanut!

Again at a little different angle. :)

News!

Well, it is official and disclosed to most of the world that Steve and I are expecting a baby. Our little bundle of joy is due July 4th... (yes, yes, I've heard a little firecracker). I've created this blog, an idea I picked up from my brilliant sister-in-law, to keep everyone in touch with me since we are so far apart from family. I hope you all can read, look, and enjoy as we experience this miracle together. Keep checking back for updates and pics eventually. ;)
